Recently, the CEO of Yipu Technology's overseas operations and the CEO of Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) held a strategic meeting in Dubai. Both parties are committed to jointly promoting the development of the hydrogen energy market in the Middle East.
As a major player in Dubai's energy sector, DEWA, with the strong support of the government, ensures the stable supply of electricity and water to the city's residents. It has been recognized as one of the world’s top public utility companies. Expanding the renewable energy sector has become a core strategic goal for DEWA, and the development of solar and hydrogen energy is key to achieving its sustainability targets.
During the meeting, both parties agreed that DEWA will integrate Yipu Technology’s leading water electrolysis hydrogen production technology into green hydrogen production projects across the Middle East. Yipu Technology will provide DEWA and its partners with customized technical solutions and comprehensive technical support to ensure that the projects meet the unique needs of hydrogen production, transportation, and application. Together, they will explore and develop a systematic approach to promote hydrogen energy solutions in the Middle East, ensuring scalability and long-term sustainability, and driving the growth of the hydrogen energy industry in the region.
This meeting not only marks an important collaboration between Yipu Technology and DEWA in business expansion but also reflects the continued progress of Yipu Technology's global business expansion. Following the successful signing of a 5MW water electrolysis hydrogen production and storage integrated EPC contract in France in the first half of 2024, this further expansion into the Middle Eastern market adds a crucial component to the company's global business footprint, further demonstrating the growing recognition of the Yipu Technology brand in international markets.
